Peter G. Wells has been taking photographs since he was 8 years of age. He qualified as an engineer but somehow became a teacher, a profession he pursued for 25 years.
In 1994 he left teaching and qualified as a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography.
Since that time he has won a number of Awards and has participated regularly in the National Portrait Gallery annual competition and reached the final selection on two occasions.
